Looking for a Goodcall Alternative?Start With What Happens After the Call.
Goodcall’s per-caller pricing with unlimited minutes is a genuinely good deal for answering calls, especially long ones and repeat callers. The reason to look elsewhere is usually a different need: paying by the minute, a live person for some calls, or someone to do the follow-up, campaigns and CRM work after the call. Below: Goodcall’s real prices checked October 4, 2026, what it costs at four call volumes, honest alternatives, and when to stay.
Lexi AI is not affiliated with Goodcall. Goodcall facts below come from Goodcall’s own website, checked October 4, 2026, and are linked.

What Goodcall Is
An AI Phone Agent Priced by Caller, Not by Minute.
Goodcall is an AI phone agent that answers your business line 24/7, captures leads, books appointments and transfers calls, priced by the number of unique customers who call each month. It’s a strong fit for businesses whose callers talk a while or call back often, because minutes are unlimited and a repeat caller counts once.
Long Calls Cost Nothing Extra
Goodcall’s pricing page says it doesn’t charge for call minutes. A 20-minute caller costs the same as a 2-minute one.
Repeat Callers Count Once
You pay per unique customer a month. A regular who calls five times is one customer, and robocalls, blocked numbers and silent callers don’t count.
Booking and Transfer
Its homepage says the agent syncs with your CRM and calendar, handles rescheduling, and transfers to your business line by default, or to a person or department you choose.
Leads Sent Where You Work
It says it captures every inbound call and shares it “via SMS, email, Google Sheets, or your CRM,” with a Zapier connection to 10,000+ tools.
Room to Grow
Plans scale from 100 to 500 unique customers, with more logic flows, team seats and call history on each step up. Enterprise is priced on request.
Easy to Try
Its pricing page offers a 14-day free trial, so you can hear it on your own line before you pay.
From Goodcall’s own site, checked October 4, 2026: Goodcall pricing (no fees for “call minutes”; what counts as a unique customer; plan limits; 14-day free trial); Goodcall homepage (“Sync with your CRM and calendar”, “handles rescheduling”, transfer to your business line by default, lead sharing “via SMS, email, Google Sheets, or your CRM”); How it works (answers 24/7, Zapier connection to 10,000+ tools).
Goodcall Pricing
Three Plans, Unlimited Minutes on Each.
According to Goodcall’s pricing page, checked October 4, 2026, plans are $79, $129 and $249 a month per agent for 100, 250 and 500 unique customers, then $0.50 per extra customer, with no charge for call minutes. Annual billing, labeled 15% off, brings them to $66, $108 and $208 a month. When a plan is exactly used up, one unique customer costs about $0.79 on Starter, $0.52 on Growth and $0.50 on Scale.
| Goodcall plan | Monthly, per agent | Annual billing | Unique customers / month | Each extra | Logic flows | Team members | Call & customer details kept |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $79 | $66/mo | 100 | $0.50 | 1 | 3 | 7 days |
| Growth | $129 | $108/mo | 250 | $0.50 | 3 | 9 | 30 days |
| Scale | $249 | $208/mo | 500 | $0.50 | 25 | 50 | Unlimited |
| Enterprise | Custom | Custom | Custom | — | Custom | Custom | Custom |
What counts as a unique customer: a caller with a unique phone number who actually says something to the agent and doesn’t quickly hang up. Robocalls, numbers you block, and callers who never say anything don’t count, per Goodcall’s page.

Cost by Volume
What Goodcall Costs at 50 to 600 Callers.
In our own example, Goodcall was the lowest-cost option at every volume: $79 for 50 callers, $104 for 150, $154 for 300 and $299 for 600. And call length doesn’t move it: if those 300 callers talked 10 minutes each, Goodcall would still be $154, while Lexi’s call usage would go from $135 to $450.
| Unique callers a month | Minutes (3 each) | Goodcall, cheapest plan | Per-minute app (My AI Front Desk) | Lexi (plan + call minutes) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 50 | 150 | $79 (Starter) | $99 | $321.50 |
| 150 | 450 | $104 (Starter) | $161.50 | $366.50 |
| 300 | 900 | $154 (Growth) | $274 | $434 |
| 600 | 1,800 | $299 (Scale) | $499 | $569 |
Our own example, not a vendor figure: each unique caller calls once that month and talks 3 minutes; one Goodcall agent on the cheapest plan for that volume, monthly billing (Goodcall, checked October 4, 2026); My AI Front Desk at $99 for 200 minutes and $0.25 a minute after (checked October 3, 2026); Lexi at $299 plus $0.15 a minute, before the one-time $100 setup fee and any follow-up texts (3¢ a segment) or emails ($0.002). Your numbers will differ. More on every option’s price: how much an AI receptionist costs.
Why Look Elsewhere
It’s Usually About a Different Need.
Businesses look for a Goodcall alternative when they need something beyond answering: follow-up done for them, campaigns, a CRM included and set up, per-minute pricing, a live person for some calls, or a morning summary. If none of those apply, Goodcall may already be the right tool.
You Need Someone to Follow Up
A lead in your inbox or CRM still needs a callback. If nobody on your team gets to it, you want the follow-up done for you.
You Want Campaigns From the Same Place
Reminders, seasonal offers, a note to past customers. Some owners want the same assistant that answers the phone to write and send them.
You Want the CRM Included and Set Up
Connecting tools through Zapier works well if you have the time. Some owners would rather have a CRM come included and kept current.
You’d Rather Pay by the Minute
If your calls are few and short, a per-minute plan can be the simpler fit for your budget.
You Want a Live Person as Backup
Some calls need a human. A service with live receptionists on call covers those.
You Want a Morning Summary
Some owners want one briefing each morning of what came in and what’s next, instead of checking a dashboard.
Alternatives by Need
Goodcall Alternatives, Matched to What You Need.
To pay by the minute, Dialzara or Rosie. For more minutes on a per-minute plan, My AI Front Desk. For a live person on some calls, Smith.ai. For the follow-through after the call, Lexi. We don’t rank them, because the right one depends on your need. For a wider look, see the best AI receptionist for small business.
If you’d rather pay by the minute
Dialzara or Rosie
From $29 / $49 a month
Dialzara starts at $29 for 60 minutes ($0.48 a minute after). Rosie starts at $49 for 250 minutes; its $49 plan texts callers a booking link, with direct calendar booking and live transfer from $149. Fits a business with fewer, shorter calls.
If you want more minutes on a per-minute plan
My AI Front Desk
From $99 a month
200 minutes included, then $0.25 a minute. Fits a business that prefers paying for minutes used rather than per caller.
If some calls need a live person
Smith.ai
Free AI plan; live from $300
Its AI plan is free for 25 calls ($3 a call after), with Pro from $150 for 75 calls. Live receptionist plans start at $300 for 30 calls ($11.50 a call after). Fits a business where a human must take some calls.
If leads slip after the call
Lexi
$299 a month + usage
Answers 24/7 and books on your calendar, then follows up with every lead, runs email and text campaigns, keeps your GoHighLevel CRM current, and sends a morning briefing. Fits when the follow-through is the problem. Costs more than an answering-only plan.
Each company’s own pricing page, monthly billing, checked October 3, 2026: Dialzara, Rosie, My AI Front Desk, Smith.ai AI receptionist, Smith.ai live receptionists. Features vary by plan and prices change, so check each site before you buy.

When to Stay With Goodcall
Sometimes the Best Alternative Is Not Switching.
Stay with Goodcall if it answers your calls well and someone on your team already handles the follow-up. Its unlimited minutes, per-caller pricing, team seats and Zapier connection are real strengths, and in our examples it cost the least for answering.
Your Callers Talk a Long Time
Unlimited minutes means a long consultation call doesn’t raise your bill. On a per-minute plan it would.
Your Customers Call Back Often
A regular counts once a month. Repeat callers are where per-caller pricing shines.
Someone Already Does the Follow-Up
If your team works every lead the same day, you may not need an assistant for the after-call work.
Your Tools Are Already Connected
If Goodcall feeds your CRM through Zapier and it works, there’s nothing to fix.
You Want the Lowest Bill for Answering
In every example we ran, Goodcall cost less than a per-minute app or Lexi. If answering is the whole job, that matters.
You Need Team Seats in the Dashboard
Its plans include 3 to 50 team members who can see performance and change the agent. Good for a team that shares the work.
Where Lexi Fits
For When the Calls Are Covered but the Leads Still Slip.
Lexi is for owners whose calls get answered but whose leads still go cold, because nobody follows up, books them, or reaches past customers. She isn’t the cheapest way to answer a phone, and she says she’s an AI. She’s built for the work after the call.
What Lexi does: answers every call 24/7, says she’s an AI, books, moves and cancels appointments, takes a message rather than guessing, follows up with every lead by text and email, writes and sends email and text campaigns, keeps your GoHighLevel CRM current, and sends you a morning briefing. She can transfer a caller to you live once transfer is set up, and for urgent calls she texts, emails, or calls you right away and flags it in your portal. Every call is recorded.
She doesn’t make up prices; a real quote needs you. She isn’t set up to take payments or give technical or safety advice — those questions go to you. She speaks English.
$299/month at founder pricing, locked for life, plus a one-time $100 setup fee and usage (calls $0.15/min, texts 3¢ a segment, email $0.002). Texting registration and a GoHighLevel CRM are included, or she plugs into the GHL account you already have. The public price is $997/month. No contract, cancel any time.
Free 6-minute demo. No card. No sales call.
Common Questions
Goodcall Alternatives: Your Questions
The best Goodcall alternative depends on what you need that Goodcall’s plan doesn’t give you. If you would rather pay by the minute, Dialzara ($29 for 60 minutes) and Rosie ($49 for 250 minutes) are low-cost options. If some calls need a live person, Smith.ai offers AI and human plans. If you want a per-minute plan with more minutes included, My AI Front Desk starts at $99 for 200 minutes. If you need the follow-through after the call, like follow-up with every lead, email and text campaigns, and a CRM that stays current, Lexi fits. And if Goodcall already does the job, staying is a fine choice.
According to Goodcall’s pricing page, checked October 4, 2026, Goodcall costs $79, $129, or $249 a month per agent on monthly billing, for 100, 250, or 500 unique customers a month. Each extra unique customer costs $0.50. Minutes are unlimited on every plan, and annual billing, which the page labels 15% off, brings the plans to $66, $108, or $208 a month. An Enterprise plan is priced on request.
According to Goodcall’s pricing page, a unique customer is a caller with a unique phone number who actually says something to the agent and does not quickly hang up. The page says robocalls, numbers you block, and callers who never say anything to your agent do not count toward your allowance. A person who calls several times from the same number is one unique customer.
No. Goodcall’s pricing page says it does not charge for the number of calls, call minutes, or AI tokens. You pay by plan and by unique customer, so a long call costs the same as a short one. That is a real advantage if your callers tend to talk a while or call back often.
For answering calls, yes, in every example we ran. In our own example, not a vendor figure, with 300 callers a month at 3 minutes each, Goodcall’s Growth plan comes to $154 and Lexi comes to $434 plus a one-time $100 setup fee. Lexi costs more because she also does the work after the call: following up with every lead, running email and text campaigns, and keeping a CRM current. If you only need calls answered, Goodcall costs less.
Lexi follows up with every lead by text and email, writes and sends email and text campaigns, keeps your GoHighLevel CRM current, and sends you a morning briefing. On the call itself she answers 24/7, says she is an AI, and books, moves, or cancels appointments on your calendar. She can transfer a caller to you live once transfer is set up on your account, and for urgent calls she texts, emails, or calls you right away and flags it in your Lexi portal.
Yes. Goodcall’s pricing page offers a 14-day free trial, and Lexi has a free 6-minute demo call with no card. In the Lexi demo you play one of your own customers and try to book, so you hear how she handles a real call before you decide. Lexi has no contract, so you can cancel any time.
Stay with Goodcall if it answers your calls the way you want and someone on your team already handles the follow-up. Its unlimited minutes suit callers who talk a long time, its per-caller pricing suits customers who call back often, and its Zapier connection suits a business that already runs its leads through other tools. If the calls are covered and nothing slips after them, there is no reason to switch.
